Employee Engagement – BCIT

The British Columbia Institute of Technology, is a public polytechnic institution of higher education. The post-secondary institute has five campuses located in the Metro Vancouver region, with its main campus in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Due to the long history members of the Incrementa team have with the institution, associate Erica Groschler was chosen to help guide the BCIT leadership team through an effective full-day workshop focused on Employee Engagement.

Employee Engagement Project

The Incrementa team co-created a large group session for over 150 deans, associate deans, program heads & chief instructors with the Senior leadership team to provide a mixture of updates and information as well as engage in dialogue and obtain input.  This was then followed by a 1/2 day session with their management team.

Erica was “parachuted” into my organization at very short notice to help facilitate a large group workshop focused on employee engagement. She hit the ground running, assessing the situation accurately, and quickly provided a realistic framework on how best to proceed. High energy, knowledgeable and respectful, Erica was able to guide us through the process and deliver  what turned out to be an effective and well received full day workshop.  I would welcome the opportunity to work with Erica again, and highly recommend her to those looking to inject energy and rigour into employee engagement and change management exercises.
