Survive, Adapt, Thrive
A webinar series for navigating the COVID-19 crisis
The crisis of our generation is here. Its impact is creating chaos in every community and business. According to the Burnaby Board of Trade, more than half of currently closed businesses are not confident they will re-open.
As business leaders, we don’t have the luxury of being paralyzed or taking a victim mindset. Our business and people depend on getting unstuck.
The Incrementa (un)consulting community has come together to create a series of webinars on navigating the COVID-19 crisis, allowing us to survive, build resilience and adapt, then thrive on the other side.
Each week we provide a new focus for the webinars.
- Week 1: Survive – now on our resources page
- Week 2: Adapt – now on our resources page
- Week 3: May 20: Thrive
Week 3: THRIVE

The future of sales + marketing – 8:00 AM PT
If we had a conversation on January 1st of this year about what we though 2020 would bring would we have even had a pandemic and a global shutdown on our list of topics? Probably not. But we are going through these, and the good news is that as we talk with businesses we are beginning to hear optimism and innovation in their approaches to the future, and an interest in how to be ready for growth when it comes. The Thrive stage of our journey is going to be a wild ride for those leaders and businesses that are prepared for it.
This presentation considers the future of sales in a world that has shifted almost overnight. We discuss how to develop sales leadership and a sales organization with the flexibility and agility that the upcoming months and years are going to bring as we learn how to thrive, and grow, in a world that will be different .

Panel: How people + culture will change post COVID-19 – 9:00 AM PT
Most agree the landscape of business is different and will continue to evolve into a ‘new normal’ because of large scale shut-downs, communities being in isolation, and people practicing social distancing.
As restrictions begin to loosen and businesses transition back to being open to the public, and in some cases bringing employees back to an office setting, there are many things to consider.
This panel will dig into the questions and considerations of both leadership and employees. Comprised of Executives in HR, Hospitality, and Law our panelists will answer some of the common questions businesses are facing. They will share their observations and best practices to set up the business, leadership & employees to THRIVE.

Tightening the belt: Scaling Operations Intelligently – 10:00 AM PT
Everyone is looking at cutting costs, reducing vendors, shrinking their teams to adapt in this ‘new normal’. But when was the last time your company evaluated the efficiency of your internal processes and procedures? Process optimization can have multi-fold benefits for your company, not just improvements in turn-around time and reduced variable costs, but it can also result in an improved company culture and team morale. Operating more efficiently than before is a key strategic change every company can make to thrive in the post-COVID marketplace.
During this session, Louise will review how a detailed process analysis should be approached. Having a strong methodology in place, and involving the right team members to lead and participate in your company’s process evaluations will be important to ensuring you thoroughly identify, and implement, all the opportunities for improvement.
