The BC Wine Institute is the voice of the BC Wine Industry. They provide marketing and promotion services for local BC wines, as well as manage more than twenty VQA Wine stores.

The story

They employ grape-growers and winemakers that are skilled craftsmen and craftswomen with a deep respect for the land to produce award-winning wines. They are looking to break new grounds in BC and Canada for wines, with every new accolade and award they achieve. On their quest to become the best, they hired Incrementa to assist with the selection and implementation of a new Point of Sale system. They wanted to make their sales smoother and more efficient. With this new technology they could increase their volume significantly.

Incrementa was engaged by the BC Wine Institute to develop requirements and facilitate the selection process for a new Point of Sale (POS) system. As part of this project, all major retail and back-office business processes were examined and optimized to reduce manual entry and turn-around time. This made the company much more efficient, and able to grow sustainable.
